Cwmaman, made up of the villages of Glanamman and Garnant, is a vibrant and close-knit community with a rich heritage and a wealth of both physical assets and community spirit.
The Community Council proudly manages a variety of spaces available for public use and hire – including a spacious community hall, eleven well-maintained recreational parks, and a newly refurbished 28-bed bunkhouse ideal for group stays, activities, and events.

Cwmaman Community Centre
Cwmaman Community Centre is a vibrant and inclusive space at the heart of our community – truly reflecting our council’s ethos: “Community Stronger Together.”
Conveniently located off Cwmaman Road in Glanamman, behind Bryn Sion Chapel, the centre offers free parking and a warm welcome to all. Inside, you’ll find a range of well-used amenities including:

Our Main Hall is a spacious and adaptable venue at the heart of the Cwmaman Community Centre. With capacity for up to 80 people, depending on layout, it’s the perfect setting for a wide variety of events and gatherings.
The hall features a raised stage, making it ideal for performances, presentations, and community shows. We can cater for multiple layouts – from theatre-style seating to tables for group activities or celebratory events.
Whether you're organising a children’s party, a family celebration, a local group session, or a conference, our team will work with you to ensure the space meets your needs.

Equipped with modern conference facilities, including a large screen with full video and audio capability, the room is ideal for presentations, hybrid meetings, and training sessions.
